Stucco painting in St. Petersburg

Stucco is extremely common on older St. Pete homes — and it requires a different approach than wood or drywall surfaces. Standard exterior paint over stucco will crack along with the stucco’s natural hairline fractures. We use elastomeric coatings on stucco: a much thicker, more flexible product that bridges small cracks and maintains a waterproof seal even as the stucco moves slightly with temperature changes.
